An absolute page-turner…I couldn’t wait to keep reading this rich, gripping book. The Spinoza Problem is very informative, both about Baruch Spinoza himself, but also about the Nazi Ideologist Alfred Rosenberg, as the lives of the two characters make up an intertwined narrative in Yalom’s work. The author has a very vivid imagination and a captivating writing style. With limited information to go by, he has managed to make a connection between two storylines that in reality where only minimally connected. The interplay between fiction and non-fiction made for a piece of beautiful creative writing…
