I was so excited when this newly discovered novel came out! The author’s writing is beautiful as always, and the English translation is expertly done, making sure to keep the essence of the author’s tone. This is a passionate, intense, and intelligent narrative of friendship and love, all the more exciting because of its autobiographical underpinnings. A truly beautiful work of philosophy and literature – I could sing the author’s praises forever!
